the opposite of faith
is faithlessness, not unbelief
faith itself
embraces refusal or inability to believe
faith within such unbelief
makes the unbelief faithful
unfaith - or denial of faith -
arises in an affirmation of certainty
not true to the presence of honest doubt
even to reject all signs of overt faith
may be loyalty to faith
while affirming faith
may be an act of faithlessness
the death of affirmed faith may be essential
that faith may be reborn in a new form
the resurrected faith will be
more in harmony to what one truly knows to be true
for the Heart already, always, knows the Truth
inspiring honest belief and honest unbelief
